I believe the bodymind language of Postural Integration is centuries ahead of its time. Trainers in this method have evolved a teaching skill that empowers facilitators as well as their clients to be their own teachers.
My interest in healing began as the only child of a single mother who then worked full time in mainstream medicine with a deep interest in wholistic wellness.
My studies include Massage, Shiatsu, Sol Ent, Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, Hawaiian (Kahuna) Body Work, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Family Constellations Training and Young Livings Raindrop Essential Oil Technique. I began my Postural Integration training with Bev Wilkinson in 1999 and have since trained facilitators, too. As an Anti-Apartheid activist, Bev had lived in exile whilst I had grown up in that very system of indoctrination. Our meeting through the work of PI became the crucible of my self-exploration and transformation and is indeed method and means that best help me translate and navigate my life with a sense of meaning, empowering me to thrive beyond my biggest dreams.
I currently practice PI full-time at my rooms in Johannesburg and several times a year, in Cape Town. In applying the art in my daily life, I am in service to sharing this work with my clients.
