I studied in Los Angeles at the BodyMind institute in 1987. I have been a practitioner of Postural Integration/ Psycho-Somatic Therapy for over 30 years and was helper to Trainer Bev Wilkinson in 1998 for the first training in South Africa.
I enjoy being involved with the Postural Integration Association of SA. I practice occasionally from my centre in the North West and combine my interests, which is to inspire consciousness as a valuable ingredient for engaging in the concepts of sustainability as a framework. My approach to my work both on an individual and a collective level is strongly influenced by Integral Psychology and the wisdom of Postural Integration.
Since 1994 I have been directly involved in rural development. With a BA in Psychology and Social Sciences, my main interest is to improve the quality of rural home life and livelihoods. I am both the Finance and Programme Director for the Rucore Sustainability Foundation and enjoy the diversity of life experience that this project offers. I currently live at the rural project, Tlholego Eco-village and Learning Centre in the North West Province of South Africa.
My passion is to inspire future generations to value the concept of responsibility and that by choosing a path of healing, healthier value systems awaken, and life becomes filled with greater opportunity and meaning. I strive to introduce diverse innovative educational themes, events, and social activities that allows for new possibilities to emerge.
