There are currently 12 certified PI Facilitators in South Africa, of which eight are actively practicing. In South Africa, certification as a Postural Integrator is awarded after successful completion of 1000 hours theoretical studies, practical work and case studies that takes place as part time study over 4 years.

PI Student’s thesis (supported by photographs) must be approved by the International Council of Psycho-Corporal (Body-Mind) Integration Trainers (ICPIT), based in Europe. ICPIT is accredited by the European Association of Body Psychotherapy.

No student of Postural Integration may practice PI without certification. Additional certification as Master Postural Integrator, Helper, Assistant Trainer and Trainer is also offered by the International Council.
